Welcome to Scholar Champion Athlete (SCA) Recruiting. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the services of Scholar Champion Athlete Recruiting’s Website.
1. Preamble
By accessing this SCA Recruiting (including all material contained therein), you declare your assent to the following terms and conditions as well as our acceptable use policy. Please read them carefully.
2. Eligibility for SCA Recruiting Memberships.
Our Products and Services are available only to individuals. Customer hereby represents and warrants that it is duly licensed to do business and is in good legal standing in the jurisdictions in which it does business (during the term of this Agreement); that it is not a competitor of SCA Recruiting; and that the person agreeing to this Agreement for Customer is at least eighteen years of age and otherwise capable of and authorized to enter binding contracts for Customer.
3. Access
By accessing the SCA Recruiting website, you certify that you’re using content available through the products and services solely for personal, noncommercial purposes; you will not copy or distribute any part of the website without SCA Recruiting LLC Limited’s prior written authorization; you will fully comply with the terms and conditions of these terms of service as well as our acceptable use policy; and you will not share your account username and password with other persons.
4. Payment
By providing a credit card or other “Payment Method” accepted by SCA Recruiting for your subscription, you are expressly agreeing that we are authorized to charge you a one-time fee, payment plan agreement, a monthly subscription fee, or a yearly subscription fee, any other fees for additional services you may purchase, and any applicable taxes in connection with your use of your subscription to the Payment Method. If you want to use a different Payment Method than the one you signed up to use during registration, or if there is a change in your credit card validity or expiration date, you may edit your Payment Method information by logging in on the SCA Recruiting Site and clicking on your Account > Account > Payment. When you provide a Payment Method to access an account, our system will attempt to verify the information you entered. We do this by processing an authorization hold, which is a standard practice. We do not charge you in connection with this authorization hold. If your Payment Method expires and you do not edit your Payment Method information or cancel your account, you authorize us to continue billing in the case of a subscriptions service, and you will remain responsible for any uncollected amounts.
As used in these Terms, “billing” shall indicate either a charge or debit, as applicable, against your Payment Method. Any subscription fees will be billed at the beginning of your subscription or expiration of your free trial period, if any, whichever is earlier, and on each monthly or yearly renewal date thereafter unless and until you cancel your subscription or the account or service is otherwise suspended or discontinued pursuant to these Terms. To see the commencement date for your next renewal period, log in on the SCA Recruiting Site and click on your profile > Account > Memberships.
For subscription services, we automatically bill your Payment Method each month or year on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your subscription (each such month, a “Monthly Period”, or year, a “Yearly Period”). In the event your subscription began on a day not contained in a given month, we bill your Payment Method on the last day of such month. For example, if you became a paying subscriber on January 31, your Payment Method would next be billed on February 28. If you change your Payment Method, this could result in changing the calendar day upon which you are billed. You acknowledge that the amount billed each Monthly Period or Yearly Period may vary due to promotional offers, changes in your subscription, and changes in applicable taxes, and you authorize us to charge your Payment Method for the corresponding amounts. If SCA Recruiting changes the subscription fee or other charges for your account, we will give you advance notice of these changes by email. However, we will not be able to notify you of changes in any applicable taxes.
Very rarely, if there are special circumstances where SCA Recruiting determines it is appropriate (e.g., your Account Service is unavailable for days due to technical difficulties), we may provide credits to affected subscribers. The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, are at SCA Recruiting’s sole and absolute discretion, and the provision of credits in one instance does not entitle anyone to credits in the future under similar or different circumstances.
In the case of an Ongoing Subscription and Cancellation. Your subscription will continue in effect on a month-to-month or year-to-year basis unless and until you cancel your subscription or the account or service is otherwise suspended or discontinued pursuant to these Terms. You must cancel your subscription before your monthly or yearly renewal date in order to avoid the next billing (each Monthly Period or Yearly Period). We will bill the monthly or yearly subscription fee plus any applicable taxes to the Payment Method you provide to us during registration (or to a different Payment Method if you change your account information). If you cancel your subscription, cancellation will be effective at the end of the current Monthly Period or Yearly Period. This means that you will have continued access to your subscription for the remainder of that period, but you will not receive a refund.
You can cancel your account at any time through your account settings. These account settings can be accessed by scrolling over your profile at the top right of the home page. On that drop down menu, you will see “Account”. You will be able to access the “Account” tab and from there you will have the ability to cancel or modify your subscription by clicking “Membership”.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit videos and or services for any other purposes without the prior written consent of SCA Recruiting Inc.
You understand that when using the site videos you will be exposed to advice from a wide variety of sources and that SCA Recruiting LLC is not responsible for the accuracy, or usefulness, of this advice. You agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against SCA Recruiting LLC with respect thereto, and agree to indemnify and hold SCA Recruiting LLC and its owners, affiliates, and/or licensors harmless to the fullest extent allowed by law regarding all matters related to your use of the site.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SCA RECRUITING WEBSITE SHALL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCA RECRUITING LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEBSITE AND YOUR USE THEREOF. 8. General
These terms of service, together with the privacy notice and any other legal notices published on the SCA RECRUITING LLC website, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and SCA RECRUITING. If any provision of these terms of service is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms of service, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of this these terms of service shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and SCA RECRUITING LLC failure to assert any right or provision under these terms of service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. SCA RECRUITING LLC reserves the right to amend these terms of service at any time and without notice, and it is your responsibility to review these terms of service for any changes. Your use of SCA RECRUITING LLC following any amendment of these terms of service will signify your assent to and acceptance of its revised terms.
9. Mobile Application
Can users access content without purchasing an Account?
Yes, Free Content is available for all users.
What does purchasing an Account provide to the user?
An account grants the user access to premium video content, digital products, online courses, content, and direct communication platforms with SCA personnel.
Members may purchase one of four types of account:
1) One-time purchases bill at the point of sale and are non-refundable. Access to such content will continue until cancellation or payment failure. A one-time purchase gets you unlimited access to that digital product while logged in online. Certain discounted product offers may not provide access to all content.
2) Payment plan purchases bill monthly starting from the initial date of purchase and continue until the balance is cleared, cancellation or payment failure. Unlimited access to that digital product is granted immediately with the first payment. Certain discounted offers may not provide access to all content. Monthly payment-plans will auto-renew each month on the date of the initial billing. For example, a monthly payment plan purchased on May 5th will auto-renew on June 5th. On the renewal date, your account will be charged the monthly fee.
3) Monthly subscriptions bill monthly starting from the initial date of subscription and continue until cancellation or payment failure. A full-price subscription gets you unlimited access to that digital product. Certain discounted subscription offers may not provide access to all content. Monthly subscriptions will auto-renew each month on the date of the initial subscription. For example, a monthly subscription purchased on May 5th will auto-renew on June 5th. On the renewal date, your account will be charged the monthly fee.
4) Yearly subscriptions bill annually on the date of the initial subscription and continue until cancellation or payment failure. A full-price subscription gets you unlimited access to that digital content. Certain discounted offers may not provide access to all content. Yearly subscriptions will auto-renew each year on the date of the initial subscription. For example, a yearly subscription purchased on February 1, 2022 will auto-renew on February 1, 2023. On the renewal date, your account will be charged the yearly fee.
Additional Information
OUR SERVICES ARE NOT DIRECTED TO, OR INTENDED FOR, CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE. SCA Recruiting understands that protecting the privacy of young children is important. For that reason, children under the age of 13 may not use the Services. If you use the Services, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use SCA Recruiting’s website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: Client, You and Your refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. The Company, Ourselves, We, Our and Us, refers to our Company. Party, Parties, or Us, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves.
